Mommy Punted!

Today, while we were at the beach, I got some incredible news. Daddy was playing ball when Mommy got a phone call. She told me what to tell Daddy and I ran up to him and said, "Mommy punted!" At least that's what Daddy heard. Luckily, Mommy stepped in to clarify that what I meant to say was, Mommy's pregnant!! I'm going to be a big sister! (Turns out the news was credible after all.)

I don't mind sharing this with you even though most people would wait until after the first trimester. No, Mommy's not being cavalier about things... it just so happens that this post was written many months later (Daddy's been too busy at work to help me keep this blog up to date!) and, needless to say, I'm told things in the future have progressed nicely.

So how did I celebrate this incredible news? By burying Mommy's legs of course! That way she can't go anywhere and give birth to anything that's going to take attention away from me!

Looks like Mommy only has eyes for me... good!

Can Serve a Story

Today we went to the Garfield Park Conservatory. There I finally got to meet the famous Captain W... defender of the water! Kinda like a lifeguard but with a cape.

I really dug this station.

The Bubbie and Zayde School for the Spoiled

I spent the night at Bubbie and Zayde's last night. By the time mommy and daddy came back to get me, I had already learned to smile and pose for pictures...

...and read books. If only they let me stay here another night, I'd be doing geometry!

Passunder

Passunder the Passover table is what I did! Great-Grandpa Irv had no idea where I was.

Took a short break to dance with Bubbie and Great-Aunt Sue.

Then went back at the table where a blurry Uncle D tried to passunder with me!

Happy Baday

Tonight we celebrated an early birthday for me. As you can see in this vid, I was very excited for the cake. And Daddy was very excited by my attempts to sing Happy Birthday.

Clearly, I wanted to have my cake and eat it too.

Check.

Then the sugar started to kick in.

After the Party, It's the Hotel Lobby

After a few fun-filled days in Orlando, we drove down to Fort Lauderdale for Uncle Noah and Almost-Aunt Sara's wedding. Aunt-T didn't waste any time breaking out the champagne...

...and, sure enough, a Girls Gone Wild video broke out!

Oh this must be one of those wierd toe fettish vids!

Luckily, Uncle D was able to contain himself from going for Mommy's toes!

Windy City

Turns out Chicago is only called the Windy City because of some hot-aired politicians. Orlando is the true windy city!

Now can you tuck my cheeks back in, Mommy?

I Just Can't Get You Out of My Head

In a video that I'm sure no-one else has ever taken, here are the the first 2 and a half minutes of "It's a Small World." Too bad no-one ever showed Daddy how to do, "It's a Small Video."

A Little Tent-ative

We waited in line for about an hour at Mickey and Minnie's tent to meet them in person.

When we finally got to the front, I was a bit tent-ative. As you can see in this video, I definitely preferred Minnie over that creep Mickey. I knew it wasn't really a guy under that costume. "He" was just too short.

They frown upon people taking their own pics with Mickey and Minnie as they want you to buy their professional pics. Somehow Daddy managed to get one shot and, let's just say, there was no frowning to be found.

Chick-fil, aye?

Today Mommy's friends came over to play with me. It was a total chick-fest. Daddy knew his place was behind the camera so he stayed there!

My girlfriends, Hannah and Maisy (who I finally got to meet today), boosted our numbers even more.

Hannah was a lot more content with Mommy holding us both than I was. Doesn't bode well should Mommy and Daddy ever bring home a little brother or sister for me.

I was much more in my element in the kitchen playing with Maisy. She's an a-maisy-ng cook!

When it came time to share my blackberry, a staring contest ensued.

Finally, we squared off with a game of chick-en.

Pinwheel Pinwheel

Here's 2 and a half minutes of me spinning in circles and falling down. (Click on the image to play the video.) As Zayde said, I sure know hot to get around!

Gold(man) Medal Winner

Today I suited up for the winter olympics.

The first event was the luge. I lugged my butt all the way down.

Next up was the snow-eating contest. (It's a new olympic sport.)

Needless to say, I won.

Mommy helped me prepare for the shot put.

We all braced ourselves when I took my turn at bobsledding.

Then I tried my hand at the wall climb. (I did mention these were special olympics, right?)

The final event is called the snoburdle. It's a decathlon of sorts, combining the snow-eating contest with the bobsled and hurdles. Afterwards, my body hurdle-ot.

The Gold Standard

Today, I went over to the Goldbergs to play with another one of my boyfriends, Alex.

As Alex sang on the mic, I did what any adoring front-row fan would do at a concert.

Alex has a special brown chair of his own.

It was here that I first developed an addiction to "Elmo TV." Jeff and Stacey -- mommy and daddy thank you.

Jeff had the munchies so I gave him some pizza.

Like father like son.

When it was time to go, Alex decided I needed a hug. Clearly, I didn't agree.

He finally cornered me and went in for the kill...

I guess that wasn't so bad after all!
