11 Months Old!
I'm the big one-one and can barely fit into the sweater that Bubbie knitted me. It's getting really hard to get me to sit still in the brown birthday chair. As Zayde would say, I've got shpilkes!
By the way, in case you haven't figured it out, I'm prone to a little blog trickery and often back date my posts to make sure they stay in chronological order. I just added a slideshow showing Mommy's pregnancy in 24 seconds so check it out and make sure to periodically browse through the archives either by date or by label so you don't miss a thing!
Bada Bing
There've been a variety of words that have gotten me to laugh in my day -- my name and whoopise come to mind -- but none of them can hold a candle to the bing. In this vid, Daddy sets up the camera unbeknownst to Mommy and commences bingage. Who needs the bling bling when you've got the bing bing?
A Little Bounce in My Step
What better way to follow the bing than with some balls and some bounce? As you can see in this video, Daddy's got me training to be a decathlete. So far, I've got the shot put and the high jump down. For Mommy's sake, let's hope Daddy never gets anything remotely resembling a pole vault on tape.
Rat Tail
I've been trying for a while now to grow a mullet. My hair is finally starting to fill out a bit in back. I haven't quite achieved mullet status yet but I've definitely got my rat tail going -- both on my head and in my hand!
Gimme Five
My newest trick is giving five. In this video, I actually give 20 including five up high!

Playgroup in da house
Mommy hosted playgroup today so our house was overrun by lil' uns. I was ok sharing my toys...
And it was all fun and games until David poked me in the eye...
So I asked everyone to quiet down...
Cuz I was ready to pass out...

Holding Court
Cousins Carol and Alan Rosenthal came to pay their respects today while Grandma fanned me and fed me grapes. Ok, not quite. More like fawned over me and fed me puffs.

Where Art Thou?
Went to the Art Institute today. It's free for the entire month of Feb. My favorite genre, of course, was Dad-aism.

It Takes 2 to Tango
Grandma and Grandpa came to visit today and I got to show off my dancing skills. Today was also my first Valentine's Day so Mommy and Daddy decked me out in my finest pinks and purples. As for who my Valentine was -- let's just say there were so many suitors that it was the heart-est decision I ever had to make... so I didn't make it and just stayed home all day!
Dress for Success
Mee-maw and Pee-paw brought me presents including this pretty sun dress. I just love it. Now, if only there were some sun, I'd really light up.

It's Good to Be Seen
I'm always so excited when Mommy and Daddy come into my room after a nap... not so much when it's anyone unexpected coming in -- sorry Grandpa! In this case it was Mommy and combine that with the camera she had and now you have 2 of my favorite things together which explains the ear-to-ear grin I'm sporting. As you can see by the mutliple pacifiers strewn about my crib, my folks have learned the trick to keeping me happy throughout the night or naps is to make sure there's always a paci within arm's reach. Hopefully one day soon paci's will be passe for me.

Stand in the Place Where You Live
This toy has created quite the controversy. It plays piano chords that sound eerily like sitcom outros. Daddy's videos of these jingles have started a stir on Facebook. The first one had about 10 different people weigh in before David J. Barnes solved it -- although Uncle Noah isn't sold. Daddy just posted the second one a few minutes ago so we'll see what people come back with. As for this pic, I'm getting much better at standing, btw. Can't say the same for Daddy's singing though. In fact, I really can't stand it.

Meal and a Movie
Today was date number 8 with Leo J -- but who's counting? We had lunch at his parents house -- why are they always chaperoning us? Then we watched David After Dentist on YouTube. I hope I never have to go to the dentist -- although it does look kinda fun.

Dancing Queen
Now that I'm standing, I can add a little wiggle and call it dancing! Here am I sashaying with Mommy. To the left, to the left. To the right, to the right. To the front, to the front. To the back, to the back. Now dip baby, dip.

I Saw Her Standing There
Daddy butchers the words to the Beatles song and it's all downhill from there.

Pat-a-Cake
I went over to Bubbie and Zayde's today and met Uncle Josh's friend, Karen. It was her birthday so he surprised her with a cake he baked. It was chocolate and the candy on top was the, er... icing on the cake.
Well-rounded
Uncle Noah and Sarah went to Disneyworld and got me this ball as a present. It goes well with Zayde's balled head. Hee hee.
Dixie Chick
Uncle Noah could've forgone the ball and just gotten me a paper cup. That way he could've saved a cup-le of bucks.
