95 Years in the Making
Finally, after waiting over 7 months, I got to meet Great Grandpa Abe. That's nothing, though, when you think about how he's been waiting 1,140 months to meet me!
Rogue's Gallery
Great Grandpa Abe has a huge bookshelf full of family pictures. He likes to call it the Rogue's Gallery. It didn't take long for me to my mark on it. No, silly, I didn't spit up on the pictures... I meant I'm in a lot of them!
The Suspense is Killing Me
I was so excited to finally meet my Great Grandpa Abe. When we got to his house, we waited outside while Zayde went in to get him situated. While we were waiting, Daddy went around Grandpa's condo building rallying support for Obama. He made these little flyers on Holiday Inn stationary from the hotel. We're just 4 days away from the election and Florida is in play. If I were old enough I'd vote for Obama because I'm all about change... when my diaper is full.
Ellie in the Sky with Diamonds
Sticking with the song title theme...
I Believe I Can Fly (2nd choice: Total Eclipse of the Belly)
All Eyez on Me (2nd choice: The Roof, the Roof, the Roof is on Fire)

Monster of the Midway, er... O'Hare
Today was my first Halloween and I got to spend most of it at the airport...
Having 3 extra eyes sure was eye-deal for people watching at security ...
Finally, we made it to Florida. Bubbie couldn't wait to get her paws on my paws...
You've heard of a piggyback ride? This was a monster-back...
Too much Halloween candy...

My First Words... Reprise
About 6 weeks ago, I started babbling and Daddy thought he caught me on film saying "Da-Da." That was questionable. This is not.

7 Months Old!
My favoritist new toy is paper. Put me within a few feet of that pulpy goodness and I'm all over it like stink on a monkey. I didn't even give Mommy a chance to get a good shot of my monthly pic. Methinks next month they're gonna have to photoshop the sign in.

Dirty Dancing
Remember when I danced with Ellen back in the day? Well Tyler and I decided to try the Ellen and Chris Matthews dance routine. Think we got the dip down...

Tyler Moves In...
Jenny and Tyler came to visit me today and the little guy wasted no time putting the moves on me. Last time, he just held my hand.
This time he came out of the box quickly and started rounding the bases...
Mommy finally intervened after the eye-touching started...

Who's Punkin' Who?
Forgive me Father -- or shall I say, forgive my father -- it's been 20 days since my last blog post. Although you might not know it because I backdate my posts to the day the pictures were taken. In a few months, we'll look back on this month and see consecutive daily posts on the 4th and 5th and forget all about it.
Fortunately, I was finally able to carve out some time for updates. Here's a recap of our trip to County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana. They had all sorts of fun stuff there -- a petting zoo, a corn maze, an apple orchard. But all I wanted to do was lay around in the pumpkin patch. You could say my abitions in life at this point are very pie in the sky.
My, What a Big Pumpkin You Have
Mommy and Daddy's friends, Megan and Brian met us out at the orchard to join in the fun. Brian picked out a big honkin' pumpkin to take home. Wonder if he's trying to compensate for something?

Here's Looking at You, Kid!
The petting zoo had all sorts of neat animals -- chickens, llamas, pigs -- but my favorites were the baby goats! Get it? Kid!
Daddy wouldn't let me pet the goats but he didn't have a problem with holding me out to kiss them. That was a baaaaaaad idea. What else would you expect from a guy who favors a soul patch over the goat-ee?

Born with a Silver Mic in My Mouth
Check me out... I'm the newest star of FreestyleKaraoke.com!
Total Recall
Grandma and Grandpa came to town for a few days. Seems like I'm starting to recognize them. Or maybe that's just the smell of fried chicken.
Upright and Out of Sight
My latest trick is sitting up all on my own. My personal record right now is about 12 seconds -- which was just long enough for Daddy to grab the camera and snag this shot.

Horsing Around
Went back again to the Lincoln Park Zoo today. They were filming an ER episode nearby so we did some celeb stalking. Saw Angela Basset and, of course, Mr Ed.

Little Kippur
For my first Yom Kippur, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Botanical Gardens to atone for all my sins -- you know... the projectile vomiting, middle of the night crying, all that sinful stuff. Then, like Abraham did with Isaac, Daddy offered me as a sacrifice... or maybe we were just playing airplane. Either way, cue the projectile vomiting...

Feeling a Little Green
My new favorite food is avocado. I'm on a high fat, high protein diet. And it's paying off. At the doctor yesterday, I weighed in at 16 lbs 12.5 oz which is 50-75th percentile. I'm 90th percentile for height at 27.25 inches and 25th percentile for head circumference at 16.5". I hope I don't turn out looking like this guy from Beetlejuice...

Swinger
Here I am at the park across from our house. One of my favorite evening activities is swinging. I like to watch other kids on the swings and play "tweet" with Mommy. Just don't try any of that Underdog stuff with me... I don't swing that way.

The Ap-prentice
Went to the Prentice cafeteria today to have lunch with Mommy's friends that she used to work with. They passed me around like the baton in the 4x100 relay. Priscilla was first up and she showed me off like I was the trophy I am...
Next up was Kathy and she toyed with me for a while...
Then, for good measure, Kathy put this stupid little hat on me. Not sure why she has this thing but somewhere a little cowboy doll is feeling inadequate...
